Our story

The creation and impact

Flair Club is the premier aesthetic club of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, dedicated to enhancing the aesthetic abilities, teamwork, and other soft skills of undergraduates. Operating under the Career Guidance Unit, Flair Club comprises seven circles: Music, Dance, Drama, Art, Creative Writing, Event Management, and the Graphic Designing, Videography, Video Editing, Photography and Sound Engineering crews.

Unleashing Hidden Talents

Our club has successfully hosted numerous events, providing a wide range of opportunities for undergraduates. These include: Rhythm to Personality, G Tune - Guitar Training Workshop Series, Susara Thelithuda - Lyrics Writing Workshops and Competition, Warna - Art Competition, Theatro - Drama Competition, Nachna - Dancing Workshop Series, Event Management Workshop, Sound Engineering Workshop, along with Graphic Designing Challenges.These events have significantly enhanced the creativity of our members.

Flair Band

Nurturing Musical Talent to New Heights

Flair Club also produced its own musical band, “Flair Band”, hosting the talented musicians in the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Reaching the pinnacle of their journey, Flair Band got tremendous opportunity to get trained with veterans in the industry, WAYO, performing at the grand Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapakse Theatre.

Beyond being an aesthetic club, Flair Club reached new heights, excelling in marketing skills, launched the Flair Online Marketplace, being a proof for showcasing the talented work of the undergraduates.

Our flagship event, the prestigious Dhaara, is a golden opportunity for undergraduates to showcase their talents and earn the recognition they have always dreamed of.
